Why does my cat eat less despite seeming normal?

Reduced appetite can mean the cat is in heat, when appetite normally drops – comfort it and offer favorite foods for nutrition. It can also mean the cat dislikes or is bored with the current food. Test by offering a favorite treat; if it eats that, it is simply picky. Enrich the diet and cut back on snacks.
