What are a rabbit’s living habits?

Rabbits are crepuscular/nocturnal, so they eat and move more at night; by day they mostly sleep and rest quietly. Owners should prepare food in advance and avoid disturbing them during daytime rest. Rabbits are solitary – in nature they dig separate burrows and only gather in mating season, so keep one per cage to avoid fights.
