When do dogs lose their baby teeth?

Dogs usually start losing their baby teeth at 3 to 5 months of age, but because individual dogs differ, the exact timing varies quite a bit. The teething process is slow and generally finishes around 8 months to 1 year of age.

During this period, prepare some teething snacks and toys to stop the dog chewing the sofa or other furniture because of itchy gums. Also, if you notice a double row of teeth, it may be a sign of calcium deficiency, and you can consider giving the dog calcium tablets.
