Some owners boil Stemona (Baibu) with a little vinegar and alcohol, let it cool, and apply it to the coat or use the leftover liquid to mop floors. This can help reduce parasites, but it should supplement — not replace — proper flea control.
5 Staying Flea-Free
Make external parasite control a habit: treat monthly in spring and summer, every two months in fall and winter, and give your cat regular sun time. Consistency is what truly prevents re-infestation.
