A little jelly is mostly harmless but not recommended. Its sugar and additives burden metabolism and, with frequent feeding, harm health and cause obesity. Do not give icy jelly that chills the gut and causes diarrhea or vomiting. Mash it before feeding so the dog does not choke by swallowing whole.
