How long until an angelfish starts laying eggs?

An angelfish reaches sexual maturity at 8 months, after which the female lays eggs. The cycle depends on density, water, temperature and food, not fixed; once breeding she lays continuously.

With good water and temperature, spawning is not seasonal, but poor water, little food or strong light greatly lowers the rate.
