After a dog takes coccidia medicine, there is generally no need to restrict feeding; eating does not affect absorption of the medicine. After dosing, watch the dog’s stool; if worms pass, continue the medicine later to fully kill the parasites. It is advised to deworm regularly, doing internal deworming every 2-3 months, to avoid internal parasite infection.
