How long after infection does canine parvovirus show symptoms?

A dog generally develops parvovirus symptoms 7 to 10 days after infection. The incubation is 3 to 14 days with no abnormal signs and no positive test until onset. Early signs are poor appetite, low spirits, and vomiting; later diarrhea, bloody stool, and fever appear as the disease worsens. Parvo needs timely treatment; earlier treatment means a higher cure rate.
