How do you care for a kitten?

Before getting a cat, prepare essentials such as a food bowl, water bowl, cat food, cat bed, litter box, litter, cat teaser, scratching post and hairball paste.

A newly homed kitten is usually 2 to 3 months old and can be fed kitten kibble softened with warm water. When it first arrives, feed it the food it was already eating to avoid stress from sudden environment and diet changes.

After the cat adjusts for a while, deworm it first; if there are no abnormalities afterward, take it to a veterinary hospital for vaccination promptly.
