Ate a whole nutrient paste tube and its packaging, already induced vomiting; brought home to observe; after 7 hours only urinated, ate normally, drools a lot, but spirit is not good

After a cat accidentally eats a whole nutrient paste package, it is recommended to go to the vet immediately to induce vomiting and check whether the paste and packaging are fully vomited out. If not and the object remains in the stomach, endoscopy to remove it is preferable to avoid later surgery.

The current X-ray shows a large amount of high-density foreign material still in the stomach, meaning much remains if the film was taken after vomiting. This may later cause obstructive blockage. If within three days the cat still cannot vomit or pass the package despite oral probiotics and gut lubricant, take it back for a re-check X-ray; if blocked, operate to remove it and provide aftercare.
