At what months does a Corgi’s face start to widen?

Corgis generally start widening their face at 8 months. From 3-4 months they enter a rapid growth phase, when body length, limbs, and face shape lengthen, making the face look thinner and slightly less cute.

When the Corgi reaches 8-9 months, its muscles and coat enter rapid development, facial muscle increases, and the face begins to round out and widen. At 12 months the Corgi’s body gradually stabilizes and becomes more coordinated than during growth, looking rounder overall; after the shedding period ends, the face shape looks even better.
