After eating a wet food, my cat ran wildly and vomited undigested food, then frequently foams a little at the mouth and licks its tongue; still bright but eating less. What should I do?

This is likely related to gut discomfort such as excess stomach acid, reduced gut motility, or digestive disorder, or to poor-quality or changed wet food. Stop the previous kibble and wet food, give an anti-emetic after vomiting, and use active probiotics to balance the gut.

If vomiting continues or diarrhea, low energy, or fever appear, internal disease such as gastroenteritis or pancreatitis is likely and a veterinary exam is needed.
