What does a hamster cold look like?

When a hamster has a cold, it may show symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, poor appetite, lethargy, rapid breathing, and nasal congestion. In addition, the hamster’s eyes may also become red and swollen, tear up, and even show some inflammatory discharge.

If you find a hamster showing one or more of the above symptoms, it is recommended to first move the hamster to a warm, wind-sheltered place. Then provide it with adequate drinking water and keep its diet light.
