A parrot’s bath frequency depends on season and climate. In sunny summer, bathe it every 2-3 days; in cold winter, once a week. Simply place a water basin in the cage and the parrot will bathe itself.

Small parrots can also take dust baths – put a tray of fine sand in the cage and they will clean themselves by playing in the sand.
