When does a yellow-spotted river turtle reach adulthood?

The yellow-spotted river turtle usually reaches adulthood at about 5-6 years of age, generally considered adult once its body length exceeds 40 cm. Its growth rate is affected by water temperature, water quality, diet, and basking time; under good conditions it can grow about 15 cm per year.
