What happens in severe cat heatstroke?

Severe heatstroke in cats causes foaming at the mouth, dehydration, sunken eyes, reduced skin elasticity, breathing difficulty, high temperature, limb weakness, coma and convulsions. Without prompt cooling, brain nerve damage can be irreversible or even cause sudden death.

After heatstroke, move the cat to a cool, ventilated place and rinse its whole body with water to cool it. If symptoms are severe, take it to a vet promptly.
