Why does a turtle’s shell peel off?
Shell shedding is usually a normal phenomenon — turtles shed periodically to accommodate growth, typically starting at age 3–4. Keep water clean, give light, and provide good nutrition. Shedding can also result from injury or malnutrition, which needs prompt treatment.
There’s a lump or bump on the left side of my cat’s neck, noticed about a week ago. What could it be? It reacts when I touch it.
A lump on a cat's neck may be caused by unabsorbed medication. Vaccines are usually given by subcutaneous injection, and when the drug isn't fully absorbed a swelling can appear. You can observe for a while and apply a warm compress to the bump; it will usually gradually subside. If the cat was recently vaccinated or given an injection, this is very likely the cause. In addition, a neck lump could also be from swollen lymph nodes or a skin abscess, which requires a prompt vet visit for diagnosis and targeted treatment.

From the photo, there's a wound on the kitten's lower leg, cause unknown. Clean it with saline, dab with hydrogen peroxide, apply antiseptic powder, cover with clean cotton, and keep a collar on to prevent licking.

From the photo, this looks like ringworm with damaged hair follicles. Medicated baths are advised after shaving the area, plus follicle-repair medication. Improvement usually takes about half a month, with careful skin care in the meantime.
Why is my dog’s eye corner swollen?
