A young cat that doesn’t like eating but has good energy may be because it dislikes the cat food the owner prepared or is being picky, or it may be poor appetite from internal parasites. The owner should appropriately switch to a more palatable food and adjust the feeding habits, trying to feed at set times and in set amounts; when it doesn’t eat, remove the food so that when it gets hungry it won’t be picky.
Occasionally add an appropriate amount of homemade chicken, duck, or similar food. If the reduced appetite is caused by disease, the cat needs to be taken to a veterinary hospital for examination and treatment.

← There are five young kittens just weaned; their mother is a neighbor's cat but they've been in my yard since weaning. This afternoon my brother found a small orange cat lying down, listless, tail puffed and trembling; by evening it had died.
