How to remove fleas from a cat?

For fleas, use a topical flea medication containing imidacloprid, moxidectin, or selamectin. As soon as you spot fleas, isolate the cat and apply the appropriate anti-parasitic treatment promptly.

For kittens too young for medication, the owner can only comb the coat daily with a flea comb to remove adult fleas. Generally, cats can start topical flea prevention at around 45-60 days old. It is recommended to apply topical prevention monthly and deworm internally every 3 months to prevent parasitic disease.
