How often should a pet centipede be fed?

A pet centipede can be fed 1 to 2 times a week; it is quite tolerant and need not be fed daily. Generally feed 1 to 2 roaches per time, sized close to its head; frequent or excessive feeding can cause sudden death. Centipedes are carnivorous arthropods that prefer high-protein, low-fat food and digest fat poorly, so high-fat food can block their gut and cause sudden death.
