Vaccinate when the cat is healthy, right-aged, and immunologically normal for best effect. Kittens start at 8 weeks, usually three shots spaced 4 weeks; adults get two FVRCP shots 3–4 weeks apart. Afterward, an antibody test every 3 years can show whether boosters are even needed.
