How should you feed a dog kibble?

Normally, dogs under one year should eat puppy-specific kibble. At about two months old, soften the kibble with goat milk or warm water before feeding, since teeth are not yet fully grown and digestion is immature, and dry food risks indigestion.

After three months, feed dry kibble directly 3 to 4 times a day, adjusting portions to the dog’s weight and the food’s guidelines. Once the dog turns one, switch to adult dog food, feeding 1 to 2 times daily.
