1 Wrong Care That Kills
No water. The myth ‘rabbits need no water’ is unscientific; they need plenty of clean drinking water or they dehydrate and die. Clean water does not cause diarrhea — forcing lots of greens before the gut adapts does, especially under 1 month.
Frequent baths or hugging. Rabbits are timid and easily scared to death; they hate being held and bathed. They self-clean, so normally no bath is needed. Only clean a specifically dirty spot and dry it — never a full bath.
Wrong location. Balconies or basements are too hot, dark or damp and lower resistance, causing death. Give a proper home.
