Why does my lizard keep sneezing?

Frequent sneezing may simply mean the lizard was irritated. Lizards don’t breathe through the nose; they mainly use it to expel excess salt, sneezing out fluid—so occasional sneezing can be normal.

Also, when the surroundings are too dusty or the enclosure smells harsh, a lizard may sneeze. If sneezing continues for a long time, consider that the lizard may be sick and give it timely help.
