The yellow liquid in a cat’s vomit is most likely its stomach acid. If your cat frequently vomits right after eating kibble, take it to a veterinary hospital for an X-ray or gastroscopy to see whether there is a foreign object in its stomach.
If there is a foreign body in the stomach or pyloric stenosis, surgical treatment is needed. In addition, a gastric ulcer can also cause a cat to vomit kibble and stomach fluid; in that case you can give the cat some oral medication that protects the stomach lining.
