Why does my cat have soft stool but is full of energy?

A cat with soft stool but good spirits may have simply eaten too much; it usually returns to normal after defecating. If the cat’s stomach is naturally weak, the owner must strictly manage its diet.

If a certain cat food often causes soft stool, consider switching brands. Also, recurring soft stool may be caused by coccidia or giardia infection, so deworm the cat regularly to avoid this.
