What is the Dutch Keeshond like?

The Keeshond is a medium-sized fluffy dog originally from the Netherlands. It is fairly large, very loyal to its owner, and highly alert with strong observation skills, making it well suited as a guard dog. Although large, the Keeshond does not take up much space, because its ancestors were ship dogs on Dutch vessels and learned to curl their bodies into a ball to save room.

In social life, the Keeshond is neither timid nor aggressive, and is very friendly toward people and other dogs.
