An overheated Corgi may show rapid breathing, drooling, lethargy and loss of appetite. Because a dog’s cooling system is poor, when its temperature is too high it cools through the mouth and nose. Also, high temperature can upset digestion, causing vomiting and diarrhea.
Finally, an overheated Corgi may become very tired, sleepy and unwilling to move. High heat can affect the nervous system, causing seizures, coma and death.
