What happens if a puppy walks on its hind legs?

A puppy that often walks on its hind legs can damage its hip joints and spine, and over time this may injure the lower spine and cause hind-leg paralysis, incontinence and inability to walk. Small breeds like Bichon and Teddy have thin bones, so the pressure on the hind legs is greater, and a misstep can cause injury, fracture or sprain. Although teaching a dog to walk on two legs is amusing, do not let it do so often, or its health will suffer seriously.
