What happens if a puppy is bitten by a mosquito?

A puppy bitten by a mosquito may show itching, swelling and infection; it may scratch and chew the spot, and sensitive skin can redden, erode or flake. To avoid bites, use a mosquito net indoors and repellent clothing or spray outside. Also avoid dusk or night outdoor activity, and soothe bites with warm water and anti-itch cream.
