What happens if a kitten eats too much?

Kittens have small stomachs and weak digestive function; eating too much at once can cause vomiting, bloating, abdominal pain, and diarrhea from indigestion. Long-term overfeeding can cause obesity, raising the risk of diabetes, joint problems, and heart disease. Excess food can also speed growth, stressing the bones and joints and causing developmental problems.
