What happens if a Hwamei bird is not walked/exercised?

Hwamei are lively; without exercise they may show these. First, they become moody, anxious or behave oddly—overturning bowls, pecking cages, pulling feathers, poor appetite. Second, they grow timid and startle easily at noise or strangers.

Finally, indoor birds’ immunity drops and they catch disease, so walk them regularly.
