What do piranhas eat?

The piranha is a mainly meat-based omnivorous fish that feeds on small fish, shrimp, benthic animals, amphibians, and aquatic invertebrates, and sometimes eats fruit and seeds. Its upper and lower jaws have a row of serrated teeth with strong bite force, easily tearing flesh from other creatures.
