A cat’s internal dewormer is somewhat toxic and easily irritates the stomach, so after taking it the cat may have gut discomfort with diarrhea or vomiting. This is normal and the cat usually recovers quickly. But if it takes too much dewormer, a poisoning reaction can occur, which is serious and needs a vet promptly. So the owner should watch for any discomfort; if anything abnormal appears, seek care at once.

If no discomfort appears, it is probably fine.
