Just redness and bad breath.

Red, swollen gums and bad breath in a cat are usually gingivitis or tartar from a lack of regular brushing. If redness is accompanied by drooling and reduced appetite, it may be stomatitis needing a calicivirus check and anti-inflammatory treatment at the hospital.

If the cat still eats and drinks and does not drool, the case is not severe. Brush its teeth regularly and remove tartar, then use an oral antibacterial spray to reduce redness. Also supplement vitamin B by adding a B-complex solution to its food to aid mucosal repair and immunity.
