How to relieve dog dehydration?

When a dog shows signs of dehydration, the owner should provide plenty of water. If the dog refuses to drink, try adding some chicken broth or other food scents to attract it.

Second, dehydration causes electrolyte loss, so try offering drinks containing electrolytes, such as low-sodium chicken broth or a special oral solution. Finally, provide some wet food, like canned food or kibble soaked in water, to help replenish fluids.

If dehydration is severe, the dog may need fluid therapy and should be taken to a veterinary hospital immediately.
