Judge age by tooth growth and wear: teeth start at about 10 days, replace at 4-5 months, complete at 7-8 months, clean and white at 12 months. Adult teeth then wear: lower incisors flatten at 1.5-2.5 years, upper at 4.5.
At 6 years the lower third incisor rounds and teeth yellow; without cleaning, plaque, tartar, and loose teeth appear.
