How to bathe a Schnauzer?

A Schnauzer’s coat is long, so brush it before bathing to avoid mats that are harder to untangle once wet. Brush gently and occasionally give snacks to soothe the dog.

After brushing, use a large basin with warm water up to the dog’s belly when standing, so it is not frightened. Pour water with a cup to wet the coat, apply pet shampoo, lather, drain, then rinse clean. Dry and blow-dry the coat afterward to prevent colds.
