Silver arowanas shorter than 15 cm can appropriately eat some mealworms. At this stage they need more nutrition but have delicate digestive systems, and mealworms are nutritious and easy to digest, making them very suitable.
Once a silver arowana grows beyond 15 cm, you can feed it small fish and shrimp, but remove the heads and tails before feeding.
