How often should parrot chicks be fed?

Generally, parrot chicks aged 0-2 weeks need feeding every 3-4 hours; those 2-6 weeks old every 6-8 hours; and after 6 weeks of age, every 8 hours. Newly hatched chicks cannot eat immediately, so wait about 6 hours after hatching before feeding.

Feeding frequency and amount vary with age. Control the portions based on the chick’s age and avoid overfeeding at once, which can upset the chick’s stomach.
