How long after exercise can a dog be bathed?

Bathe a dog about half an hour after exercise. Exercise speeds metabolism and circulation and causes electrolyte imbalance; right after, the dog’s vitals are not settled and skin pores are open, so bathing then can cause chills and even insufficient heart or brain blood supply with a risk of sudden collapse.

So let the dog rest 30 minutes until its indicators stabilize before bathing.
