How is a Samoyed mixed with a local (farm) dog?

A ‘local dog’ generally refers to the Chinese rural dog, which may be a special breed from a region or a mix of many other breeds’ genes. These dogs are medium-sized and well-proportioned, with strong immunity and adaptability, and are very loyal to their owners. Crossed with a Samoyed, they usually produce offspring with traits of both, though the appearance won’t be as refined as a pure Samoyed’s.

However, compared with a pure Samoyed, the mixed offspring may be healthier and less picky about food, making them easier to keep. In addition, they may offset some of the Samoyed’s drawbacks, such as low vigilance, insufficient loyalty to the owner, and heavy shedding.
