How intelligent is a Pomeranian?

The Pomeranian is a very smart dog, ranked 23rd in intelligence, equal to the mental level of a 3-4 year old human child. Also, it is lively, very curious, easy to train, and loves learning new skills.

Historically, Pomeranians were good performing and working dogs, able to do tricks, tracking, and search tasks. Finally, they have some social ability and can quickly fit into a new family, and they enjoy playing with other dogs and people.
