How do you choose a good dog?

Choose a dog based on your household. With large space and no elderly or children, consider medium breeds like Border Collie, Golden Retriever, or Labrador; with limited space and more family members, small breeds like Bichon, Teddy, or Pomeranian are better.

When buying, check the dog’s health: clear eyes, ears, and nose with no abnormal discharge, a clean anus, normal energy and appetite, and a quick response. Clap to call it over; a happy, fast approach means an outgoing dog, while one that pounces or refuses to come is overly excited or timid and is generally not recommended.
