Day 4 postpartum; while wiping nipples found pus-like secretion near the armpit, thought it was a blocked 7th nipple, squeezed and it came out, area was hard then softened. Don’t know what it is; worried for the mother.

The nature of the white secretion is unclear; common expressible whites are oily secretion, keratin plugs, mite secretion, or fat grains. Long pre/post-birth lack of bathing or overactive sebaceous glands can form such bumps, usually minor.
After squeezing, disinfect the follicle with iodine. If there are many such spots, see a vet to set a treatment plan.
