Can pets stay in hotels?

Most hotels do not allow pets, especially some large, formal hotels that clearly state pets are not allowed, so the owner should call the front desk to confirm before booking. Because pets may carry germs and parasites, if disinfection is not done well they may affect other guests’ health. In addition, some dogs or cats may bark at night, and most hotels are not well soundproofed, so a pet’s presence disturbs other guests’ rest and affects hotel service. Therefore, only a small number of hotels are willing to accept pets, and a few even provide a separate small room for the pet to rest.
