At what age can a lop rabbit breed?

A lop rabbit is suitable for mating and breeding only after 6 months of age. Most lop rabbits reach sexual maturity around 4 months, but at that time they have not reached body maturity, so breeding is generally not advised; wait until they are 6 months old and physically mature.

Breeding too early is very harmful; it not only affects the lop rabbit’s normal growth and development but also lowers the survival rate of the offspring. Therefore, to avoid this, breed the lop rabbit only after it is 6 months old.
