At what age can a Chihuahua leave its mother?

Chihuahuas can usually leave their mother at 45 days, as they are weaned and stronger by then. But their resistance is still weak, and a sudden environment change can cause stress or illness, so avoid moving them then. Also change the diet gradually during weaning so their gut adapts.
