Weak hind legs and slow walking after a fall suggest pain or a sprain, but if the cat shows dilated eyes, nasal bleeding, poor appetite, or depression, it may have fractures or internal injuries.

Take the cat to a clinic promptly for an ultrasound or X-ray to determine the injury and treat it. Avoid bumps during transport to prevent further damage.

If it is only a pain reaction or fright, rest at home with warm compresses and massage of the affected limb usually aids recovery.
