French Bulldogs come in many colors including brown, black, cream, brindle, and black-and-white. Brindle is the strongest dominant gene, so to produce brindle at least one parent must be brindle or carry the gene. If both parents are pure brindle, all offspring show brindle. If only one is brindle and the other is non-brindle but carries the gene, about half the litter will be brindle.
